    On September 17th 2017, Team Excellence took part in the Team Marathon at Rutland Water aiming to raise £500 for Leicestershire based Rainbows Children’s Hospice. We are extremely pleased to announce that this target was not only achieved but smashed and the grand total now stands at £745.00.     With the Rutland Marathon just over the hill, the past 6 weeks has seen Alex, Murray, Ross and Vicky hit the roads in preparation for the Rutland Team Marathon.     Running shoe trends are constantly changing and recently the trend is moving away from the barefoot / ultra-minimalist styles. This is possibly due to inappropriate shoes combined with poor technique and inadequate strength resulting in increased injury.
